Cardiology team:

Dr Charles Heatley
Dr Heatley; BA (Cambridge 1983 , MBChB (Glasgow 1986) MRCP (1989) MRCGP (1990) DRCOG(1990)
Dr Heatley worked in acute medicine in Glasgow for three years following his JHO jobs, including a year in infectious diseases. He has maintained an interest in cardiology. His practice records ECGs in house, which he has analysed throughout his 23 years as GP Partner (at Birley Health Centre), with occasional supervision from consultant colleagues. He set up a Cardiomemo service for rhythm investigation in the Hallam and South Locality and worked on the heart failure pathway. He has contributed a chapter on palpitations to the BMJ/WILEY ABC of Emergency Differential Diagnosis. Dr Heatley is also Lead GP for Elective Care at NHS Sheffield CCG.

Dr Andrew McCoye
Dr McCoye is a GP Principal at the Ecclesfield Group Practice and an active member of the North CCG Locality. He has a particular interest in cardiovascular disease and works as a GP clinical assistant for Sheffield Hospitals Trust in Cardiology. He has been involved in the redevelopment of the chest pain service, and improving Amiodarone prescribing and monitoring. He also worked on the formulation of the Care Home LES and the Concord Health Support Group, delivering advice and support to patients with cardiovascular problems.
Dermatology team:

Dr Richard Benn
Dr Benn qualified from Sheffield University in 1999. He worked in dermatology as a Junior Doctor and has always maintained this interest as a GP. He has been a GP Partner at Greystones Medical Centre since 2006, where he performs minor surgery. Dr Benn is keen to develop his skills and to contribute to the wider primary care landscape and he feels his work for CASES will enable him to do so.

Dr Helen Story
Dr Story qualified as a GP in 1999 and is now in her third partnership at Chapelgreen Practice. She worked as an SHO for 9 months in dermatology and then continued her interest by becoming a GPCA from 1999. She has continued to work in this role, including 2 years with SCH. She has a keen interest in service improvement and works for NHS Sheffield CCG. She is a member of the LMC and is keen to hear all GP and patient opinions on services. Dr Story's motivation to be involved with CASES is to enhance the patient pathway and to improve the communication and continued learning between primary and secondary care.
ENT team:

Dr Nadeem Petkar
Nadeem is a GP partner at Southey Green Medical Centre and a reviewing GP for the ENT specialty as part of the CASES programme.

Dr Nabeel Makmahi
Gastroenterology team:

Dr Scot Darling
Dr Darling qualified from Sheffield University in 1989. He worked in partnership in the city for 15 years and obtained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2004. Since then he has been a sessional GP. He is a medical student tutor and GP appraiser. Dr Darling has a special interest in medico-legal work.

Dr Marion Sloan
Dr Sloan is a GP Partner at the Sloan Medical Centre and has been a GP for 38 years. She has a career-long interest in gastroenterology and is a committee member of the Primary Care Society for Gastroenterology. Dr Sloan has worked as a Hospital Practitioner at STH since 1983, undertaking upper / lower GI endoscopy and out patient clinics and she developed and ran a Community Gastroenterology Service.

Dr Jim Lee
Dr Lee completed his undergraduate and VTS training in Sheffield and is a partner at Nethergreen Surgery. A member of the Primary Care Gastroenterology Society, he enjoys being involved with the educational and service improvement opportunities that CASES provides.

Dr Qumer Younis
Dr Younis qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2008. He is truly a local GP having been born and bred in Sheffield. He undertook all his undergraduate and postgraduate training in South Yorkshire. Dr Younis worked in gastroenterology as a Junior Doctor and has always maintained an interest since. He has worked as a GP at Heeley Green Surgery since 2012. Dr Younis also works at the Sheffield GP Collaborative. He is a medical student tutor and examiner for the University of Sheffield Medical School. Dr Younis sits on the Continuing Healthcare Eligibility and Retrospective panels for NHS Sheffield CCG. He is keen to enhance the patient experience and improve the communication between primary and secondary care.
Gynaecology team:

Dr Karen Joshi

Dr Emma Reynolds
Dr Reynolds is a Sheffield graduate and has worked at Tramways Medical Centre as a salaried GP since 2009. She is a member of West CCG Locality commissioning group, involved in developing the CASES programme. She has always had an interest in gynaecology and wants to shape services so they are more accessible and sustainable in the future. Dr Reynolds also does out of hours work where she trains Registrars, and teaches communication skills to medical students.
Dr Emma Park
Dr Park has a longstanding interest in gynaecology and sexual health stemming from her undergraduate elective in adolescent health in Canada. She qualified from Sheffield in 1997 and completed three years of an obs and gynae rotation before she saw the light and became a GP! She has also worked in family planning, GUM and was a programme director on the Sheffield GPSTS. She is currently a salaried GP and GP trainer at Heeley Green surgery, and member of the RCGP adolescent health clinical interest group.

Urology team:

Dr Michael Boyle
Dr Boyle has been a GP Partner at Birley since 1993. He graduated from the University of Sheffield in 1989 and completed VTS in 1993.He has an interest in medical education and is a Foundation Tutor, supervising and training postgraduates. For the last three years, he has been working for NHS Sheffield as a clinical commissioner – having led on projects in prescribing, neurology and open access neuro-radiology pathways. His clinical interests include mental health, dermatology, cardiovascular medicine and respiratory medicine. He is also a Trustee for Saint Wilfrid`s Day Centre.

Dr Magdy Shenoda
Dr Shenoda has been working in General Practice in Sheffield for 11 years. He is a salaried GP at Dovercourt Group Practice. He has a background in renal medicine as a Registrar at STH. He is about primary care education, developing pathways and improving patient care.

Dr Rowan Kenny
Dr Rowan Kenny is a Sheffield Graduate and GP partner and trainer working at Carterknowle and Dore Medical Centre. He has special interests in education having worked in undergraduate and postgraduate training for number of years working with medical students, physician associates and GP trainees. He has had an interest in men's health for many years and ran a pilot service for Erectile dysfunction in Rotherham at a previous partnership.
