Evening and Weekend Appointments

Local GP practices have teamed up to provide extra weekend and evening appointments for their patients.

From 1st October 2022 weekend and evening appointments will be available at Jordanthorpe Health Centre, Crystal Peaks Medical Centre, and The Mathews Practice for patients registered at the practices listed below.

You can book through your GP practice. You will soon be able to book this service online through this webpage but online booking is not
currently available. We will be adding online booking to this page as soon as possible.

You can access weeknd and evening appointments at Jordanthorpe Health Centre, Crystal Peaks Medical Centre and The Mathews Practice.

What kind of appointments are available?

Remote and face-to-face appointments can be made with a variety of GP practice staff including Doctors, Advance Care Practitioners, Nurses, Nurse Associates, Health Care Assistants, Physiotherapists and, Pharmacists.

Doctor – Will provide assessment, treatment, and advice on a range of health concerns + arrange onward referral if required.

Advanced Care Practitioner – Will provide assessment, treatment, and advice on a range of health concerns + arrange onward referral if required.

Doctor Nurse – Will offer a range of services including long-term condition reviews, health monitoring, wound care, cervical screening, ear irrigation and blood testing.

Nurse Associate – Will offer a range of services including long-term condition reviews, health monitoring, wound care, cervical screening, ear irrigation and blood testing.

Healthcare Assistant – Will offer a range of services including long-term condition reviews, health monitoring, wound care, ear irrigation and blood testing.

Physiotherapist – Can help with muscular-skeletal problems like back pain.

Pharmacist – Can offer advice on medication
