The Pharmacy Service will continue to work to onsite schedules but where staff are working remotely they will be accessing practice systems using EMBED issued VPNs.
Patients will continue to be contacted by telephone if needed.
Due to expected absence and sensitivity to the current national pandemic the launch of the Hub and Spoke model will be postponed until further notice.
As additional pharmacy staff join the team, we will contact Networks and the service will be offered as spoke work from a remote site.
We have taken additional steps to minimise risk to the workforce, including splitting our clinical hub to limit the size of group working and where pharmacists continue to work onsite at a practice, we are advising them to limit the number of sites to avoid travelling between sites.
