Citizens Reference Group
The group works to advise on and influence decisions on the way that health and social care is delivered in Sheffield. The Group is facilitated by Sheffield City Council on behalf of Primary Care Sheffield.
Meetings will take place on the following dates:
- Wednesday 24th February 2016 (1-4pm)
- Tuesday 24th May 2016
- Wednesday 28th September 2016
- Tuesday 22nd November 2016
- Thursday 24 February 2017
If you’re not able to attend the meetings, you can still be involved as you’ll receive a regular bulletin with opportunities to give your opinion in between meetings.
Who can join?
Everyone in Sheffield is welcome to join the reference group, whether they are a patient, carer, health professional, a family member or friend of someone who accesses health and social care services in Sheffield. We are working to ensure the meetings are inclusive and accessible for everyone, whether you speak another language, have a physical or mental disability, are deaf or blind. Please let us know if you would like any additional support to attend the meetings.

Any out of pocket expenses you have from coming to the meetings can be covered e.g. travel costs, personal assistants, replacement carers.
Patient and Public Involvement Evaluation Group
The group has been set up to provide a citizen perspective on the evaluation of the Enhancing Primary Care programme, delivered by Primary Care Sheffield.
Three meetings will take place in 2016, the first date is:
- Tuesday 2 February 1pm to 3.30pm
